Legacy Funds with Kansas Sports Officials Association

A Legacy Bequest Fund offers an opportunity to make a charitable contribution in your own name, in the name of a remembered friend, or a sports official who had a positive impact on you. Your donation will be used by KSOA for specific sport training, scholarship opportunities for officials, or toward the general mission of Kansas Sports Officials Association. Life happens … and a legacy fund can benefit a future generation of officials.

Terry White Legacy Fund honors his commitment to high school activities as a player, official, and broadcaster. Terry’s adventurous life included teaching and coaching in Randolph, Madison, Lyndon, Garnett, and Ottawa, Kansas after graduating from SM West in 1972, KU in 1977. Add to that his 40 years of officiating basketball and football, as well as broadcasting Ottawa American Legion baseball for 10 years, and Terry held a perspective that few others have in high school sports. His legacy fund will promote the professionalism and pursuit of excellence for sports officials that are a part of the Mission of KSOA.
